The Lifetag In Case of Emergency Helmet Tag idea was born in 2018 whilst working on a Nation Grid Power Line contract for Babcocks International.

As part of our PPE requirements we needed a paper helmet mounted ICE record, which inevitably in the UK environment didn't last more than a few days until completely useless so I started to look into more secure and indestructible ways of storing the required information and making it as easily accessible as possible in the unfortunate event it being needed.

Now in the final stages of the development, our new, faster information transfer software will give us the ability to release LifeTag on a commercial scale for companies wishing to take an in house subscription to write the tags themselves, or for us to be able to offer that facility for you.

Never leave your health to chance. The Life Tag In Case of Emergency Helmet Tag is a vital accessory for any worker who values their wellbeing.

Please Fill Out The Form Below To Supply All Required Information To Be Written To Your Life Tag ICE Helmet Tag;

Lifetag Instructions;

LifeTag uses an NFC chip built into the helmet tag to store the required information and therfore will require the mobile phone being used to have it's NFC turned on to do so.

ANDROID USERS;

Please go to your quick settings menu where you should find the required button to do this.

IPHONE USERS;

On newer iPhones (iPhone 13 and later), NFC is always on and cannot be turned off. To use NFC, simply open the required App and hold the phone near an NFC tag. On older iPhones (iPhone 8 and earlier), you need to open the Control Center and tap the NFC Tag Reader icon to enable it and it suggested that this facility remains turned on .

Although this should work It is advised that the user download an App specific to the job rquired.

* After testing available free Apps is both Google Play Store & Apple App Store I have found personally that NFC Tools is best suited so have put a QR code below to the app on both platforms.

PLEASE TEST & BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE APP TO PREVENT ANY CONFUSION IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGANCY

* Tightline Arb UK Ltd does not own nor collaborate with NFC Tools and takes no responsibility for its performance or compatability for your selected phone.. This recommendation is purely a personal opinion and other NFC Reading Apps are available to download should you choose to do so.

Downloading an NFC Reader App is recommended despite most smart phone having the reading facility as standard.
